Is ISCA dead?

I look at it this way. "ISCA" is like this ancient group of people who set up
a system of laws in the form of the constitution. From there, Sysops were
ordained to manage the BBS. Sysops appointed FMs to help with that task, and
together they came up with the exhaustive system of rules in the help files
and various forum informations.

The problem is that ISCA has died out. Yet, much like organized religion, the
hierarchy inherently wants to maintain control over the users despite the fact
that the entire system of governance is obselete. If a problem arises, you
can chase it all the way up the chain of command until it goes above the heads
of the Sysops, where its passed along into the ether of this mysterious
U of I student group.

So, ISCA are like long-dead prophets and saints. The Sysops are like Bishops,
FMs are the Priests, and WE, my friends, are the sheep, following blindly
the many sermons from on high.

Oh fuck, does that make Knightshade our Martin Luther?

FINALLY someone posts a valid real-world analogy on the BBS...

Now if I could just find a way to nail stuff to the door of the BBS...
